WHAT IS YOUR CANCELLATION POLICY? 

To hold your date, I ask for a non-refundable 50% deposit upon booking. If you decide to cancel for any reason, you will be responsible for the payment of all expenses incurred and work done toward the completion of the project. If the project has been completed in full prior to the cancellation, the client is still responsible for the full payment agreed upon in your estimate. If you need to reschedule your date, I am happy to move the schedule around accordingly!

How far in advance do I need to book?

Typically, you should aim to book 6-8 months before your wedding day. I always suggest sending out your invites three months before your big day! Custom designs take anywhere from 4-6 weeks to complete the process, including your consultation, design, print and assembly.

When should I order our day-of stationery?

A good time to get started on your day-of stationery is at least six weeks before your wedding. To start, we'll discuss what items you’re looking for and start talking about design! Once you have confirmed your guest list, seating plans, menus, etc, we can finalize your designs and send them to print. Typically, we aim to finalize and send your designs to print at least 2-3 weeks before your wedding day.

How many invitations do I need to order?

First off, you do NOT need as many invitations as you have guests! To get an estimate of how many wedding invitations you need to order, count by household. Once you have the number of households counted, add at least 10-15 extras to your total. You may even want to add 20 just in case! While ordering the exact amount of invitations might save you money now, it is much more costly to order reprints at a later date in smaller quantities.

TIMELINE SENDING SAVE THE DATES? INVITATIONS? THANK YOU CARDS?

You should be sending your save the dates out at least six months before your wedding date, but I often suggest sending them 8-12 months in advance if you have the time! This gives your guests lots of time to make arrangements so they can celebrate your big day with you.

As for your invitations, they should be sent out at least 2-3 months before your wedding. If you have a lot of out of town guests or are planning a destination wedding, I suggest sending them at least four months prior.

Lastly, don’t forget to send your thank you cards 6-8 weeks after the wedding!

Every colour choice and font selection is created especially for you, and you’ll have the option to use real calligraphy for a thoughtful touch and hand-painted designs that are unique to you. I’m speaking for myself of course, but I always love being able to push myself creatively when I design custom work. With custom work, the sky’s the limit!
